ValTrainer

ValTrainer is a free, open-source practice range built around VALORANT. It reads your VALORANT settings, so every drill feels like the game: the same sensitivity (identical cm/360), crosshairs (primary, ADS and sniper, each where VALORANT shows it), keyboard and mouse keybinds, and enemy highlight colour, with targets that look like VALORANT enemies. Aiming down sights works like VALORANT too: the gun stays low, a thin sight outline appears around your crosshair and the zoom eases in. It only reads your config files and never touches the game.

Train like the game

• Aim drills: Gridshot, Head Flicks, Microshot, Target Switch, Pop-up Reflex, Strafe Tracking, Long-range Taps
• VALORANT mechanics: counter-strafing, jump and jiggle peeks against an Operator, Vandal and Phantom spray control with a spray chart
• Real map areas at true scale: Ascent, Bind, Breeze, Haven, Icebox and Split, for site clears, post-plant, retakes, site anchoring and Deathmatch vs bots
• Bots that shoot back, tuned to 5 rank-calibrated difficulty tiers

Lock in before ranked (new in 1.5)

A short routine built from sports-psychology and motor-learning research, all at your real sens:

• Check-in: rate your energy and confidence, pick one goal for your games and one cue word. A breathing guide comes up if you feel wired.
• Adaptive drills: easy drills first, then Head Flicks, Spidershot and Gridshot that keep you near 80% hits, then bots and a deathmatch whose last minute is easier.
• Hand-off: your goal and cue, a three-step buy-phase routine and a Launch VALORANT button.
• Setup check against your VALORANT settings, a crosshair visibility hint, and an optional match log (kept on your PC) that shows what seems to work for you.

Short (about 7 min), Lock-In (about 12 min) or Training Day (about 20 min). No study has tested an aim-trainer warm-up on ranked results yet, so there's no win-rate promise.

Agent training for all 29 agents

Signature drills with each agent's own utility: flash & peek, recon & clear, smoke executes, Jett / Neon / Raze entries, sentinel setups and Chamber's guns, plus a 10-minute Lock-In for every agent.

Get better, not just busier

• Aim coach: analyses every run and tells you what's holding you back (overflicks, slow micro-adjustments, a low crosshair, late counter-strafes) and which drill fixes it
• Sens Finder: a blind A/B test that finds the sensitivity you actually perform best with
• Crosshair Finder: tests colours and shapes for your primary, ADS or sniper crosshair, then gives you an importable VALORANT crosshair code that changes only that tab
• Your results vs your usual range, with a graph of every Lock-In

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), any GPU with Vulkan, DirectX 12 or OpenGL 3.3, and about 450 MB of disk space.

Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" because ValTrainer isn't code-signed yet: click More info → Run anyway, or compare the file with SHA256SUMS.txt on the GitHub release.
